Friends and family are the only people you really can rely on.  I take this to heart and make sure I'm always honest to my friends.  This quote came from a conversation I was having with my friend...she was a bit shocked and awed by the bluntness of my statements.  So in defense I replied... 

"That's why I'm a great friend...I tell you the things you never want to hear."
